On Pixel is like a one-man band, one man, playing a lot of different instruments. But instead of instruments I do a large variety of graphical content and for wide of clients and purposes.  

My name is Johan Herrström and I have since the late 90s been creating 3D images and animations. A lot has changed over the years regarding software, hardware and techniques but my passion for creating has never been stronger. As the years gone by, there has been a shift from just making good looking images to telling an engaging story. 

 One of the core concept I want to pursue with ‘On pixel’ is, sustainability. I want to help sustainable companies, products and ideas to be seen and heard. It’s something that resonates with me deeply and exactly what the planet needs right now, and in the future. 

(English: “for the public good”; usually shortened to pro bono) is a Latin phrase for professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment.

As a step toward a more sustainable, equal and better world I want to give something back to the community. So once a year I will take on a project for a client that I think is doing the world or a local community a better place to live, free of charge of course.
